B Box Entertainment is the official event production company of SJ FAM. Founded in 2001 by Executive Producers A.J. Sioson and Mark Dimalanta, they are most notably known for Battlefest Live 360, one of the largest Urban Dance competitions in the country. Some other events/ projects include B Box Live, Battlefest Live Las Vegas, and Mecca Dance Convention. Barb Rocks is recognized for putting on highly-organized and well-attended shows at reputable venues in the San Jose Bay Area. Barb Rocks Presents focuses mainly on all types of rock music, from indie to punk to progressive to metal, but is open to music of all genres. Each show is carefully organized for cohesion between the bands, so that the music compliments each other and audiences get to experience a unforgettable night of entertainment that flows together. Many local favorites will only work with Barb Rocks, as their experiences with her surpass others in quality, communication, and compensation.
Not only is Barb Rocks well-known as one of the most respected promoters in the bay area, she also supports various musicians in band management and booking, as well as other promotional help. Barb Rocks is currently managing Jade of Days, My Monster, Letters Make Words, Whatever Fits, and Broken October, plus she is working closely with other unsigned bands to expand this portfolio. Barb Rocks is also a core group member of the community outreach movement that created and hosts Left Coast Live, the premier downtown San Jose annual music event, and she is on the West Fest committee, which organizes this annual all-ages show at West Valley College.
