





Erik Otto is an artist, graphic designer, and art director born and raised in the South Bay Area. He is a graduate from San Jose State University, where he received a BFA in Illustration/Animation. He has worked with companies such as Urban Outfitters, Old Navy, Jansport, Wells Fargo, The American Red Cross, HBO, and Om Records and was awarded the Jury Prize at Cut & Paste’s Digital Design Tournament (2007). Otto has taken on such ambitious roles as Production Designer for Glory Boy Days, an independent feature film, and Art Director for his own product platform, New Leaf Clothing. Otto’s personal artwork is exhibited in galleries nationally and internationally and is represented by The Shooting Gallery in San Francisco. He has had solo exhibitions at The Shooting Gallery, Design Within Reach, Gallery Three, and D-Structure, and holds an Artist-in-Residency at SF Recycling & Disposal. He has been included in group shows nationally and internationally in New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, and Canada. Otto currently lives and works in the sunny Mission District of San Francisco.
