Sandy Munio has been a proud San Jose native. Infatuated with art and color from the very beginning, friends and family were surprised to find her studying Journalism at the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Upon finishing college in 2003, she explored various opportunities in media relations, editing and publishing before pursuing her dreams as an artist in the world of design and retail. In early 2007 Munio-Ink was born, the ultimate outlet for her creative desires. A place where years of practice, color, passion, retail, graphic design and mermaids exist together in harmony. She can often be found at street painting events like the Imadonnari in San Luis Obispo, or running on the beach in Santa Cruz with her dogs while her husband surfs.
