Over 1000 artists and 100,000 music lovers converging on San Jose for a weekend of fantastic musical diversity, tradition, and innovation.
The sounds of jazz return to downtown San Jose August 7-9. From Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, music lovers will converge on the heart of Silicon Valley to enjoy three days of jazz, blues, salsa, Latin, R&B, electronica and many other forms of contemporary music.
Jazz is the basis for most of the popular music of today, and the AT&T San Jose Jazz Festival showcases that breadth. Like the tradition of innovation here in Silicon Valley, jazz composition and performance continue to evolve and change. During the three days of this year’s festival, we promise that the cravings of even the most diverse music lover will be satisfied.

It’s happening here, in San Jose!
The festival is still demonstrating its commitment to local music. The San Jose and Bay Area legends will be there: Edgardo Cambon, a tribute to Louis Bellson, John Santos, Wayne Wallace… You’ll meet the local rising stars there too: Panthelion, Hristo Vitchev, Marcus Shelby and many many more… on stages but also in all downtown hotls, bars and restaurants. It’s all about the music!

The AT&T San Jose Jazz Festival is produced by San Jose Jazz, a 22 year-old non-profit organization. San Jose Jazz is a mission-driven arts organization that produces culturally diverse performance and educational programs designed to build a stronger, more vibrant cultural atmosphere in San Jose and the Silicon Valley. San Jose Jazz was founded in 1986 to enrich the lives of Silicon Valley residents through performance and education. In 1989, the organization produced its first jazz festival. Today, San Jose Jazz brings music to over 5,000 shool-children a year, and produces hundreds of concerts and events. San Jose Jazz brings people together through the music.
